El evento tuvo lugar en el majestuoso TeatroRitz, Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center, en el centro hist\u00f3rico del a ciudad de Sanford. Hace diez a\u00f1os,la dominicana Perla Bello-Crosby consideraba crear una revista local que fomentara la unidad y la generosidad de la comunidad multicultural de Sanford. Esta visi\u00f3n se materializ\u00f3 en My Sanford Magazine, que desde entonces se ha convertido en una plataforma desde la cual compartir historias inspiradoras, dar a conoce negocios locales,eventos y donde proyectar a los dominicanos en una ciudad anglosajona. Al ser la primera revista de la ciudad sostiene perla, \u201chemoscrecido hasta convertirnos en un pilar de la ciudad de Sanford,en la Florida Central\u201d. Su gala anual de premios reconoce a las mejores empresas y organizaciones a trav\u00e9s de diversas categor\u00edas,incluyendo Best of Sanford, Best of Downtown Sanford,Best of Seminole y el premio a la Industria del a\u00f1o.
